Peter Wells has been a soloist with the choir for many years. His solos included The Road to Mandalay and The Yeomen of England He sang the part of Jupiter, King of the Gods in Orpheus, Baron Zeta, in The Merry Widow and McGregor in Brigadoon.

Sue Black has sung with us for several years, in spite of being in great demand from other organisations. Her solos included Homeland from Die Fledermaus and Habanera from Carmen She has given very memorable performances as the Merry Widow in recent years. The picture shows her in costume for a previous production.

David Purcell has taken part in several productions. His solos in this concert included Sea Fever, The Cobbler’s Song and I got plenty o’ nuttin. He sang the part of the Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance and the picture shows him in costume for the part of Icarus in Orpheus.

David Homer took solo parts in two pieces. He was Stuart Cameron in Brigadoon. He is a regular member of Stroud Light Music Choir and has taken rehearsals when the Musical Director has been unavailable. He belongs to several local choirs and drama groups.
